What you send us
Orders are arranged through WhatsApp, so most of what we hold is what you type or attach there. That is the information used to answer a question and to move an order.
- Contact details you give us: your name, phone number, and delivery address.
- The reference you are asking about, saved screenshots, catalogue links, and the quantity you want.
- Photos or video you send for a pre-dispatch confirmation, a quality question, or a claim.
- Anything else you choose to describe — packaging preference, a gift note, an alternative contact.
This website has no customer accounts and no checkout, and it does not ask you for payment details. Please do not send identity documents through WhatsApp unless a carrier or customs authority specifically requires something from the recipient; if that ever happens, we will tell you exactly what is being asked for and why it is needed.
What the website records on its own
While you browse gunongtrade.com, limited technical information is recorded so that we can tell which pages and catalogue entry points are actually useful.
- Page views and click events: the page address, the link or button that was clicked, the target of that link, the language version of the page, and a timestamp.
- Approximate country, taken from the Cloudflare network that serves the site. This is a network-level estimate, not a location read from your device.
- The referring page, when your browser sends one.
- Shortened browser and device information, such as browser family and screen category.
- Aggregated visit measurement through Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-V8T3FRFVPV).
Your name, address, and phone number are not collected by the website itself. They exist in the WhatsApp conversation you started, where you chose to send them.
What information is used for
- Answering your inquiry and confirming the reference, the options, and the destination.
- Preparing an order, sending you photos before dispatch, and arranging the shipment.
- Handling a quality question or a return after delivery.
- Understanding which catalogue categories and pages bring real inquiries, so content effort goes where buyers are.
- Keeping the site available and protected against abusive traffic.
Who else can see it
We do not sell or rent your information. A small number of services take part in running the site and in moving an order, and each of them sees only what its part of the process needs.
- Courier and logistics partners, and the delivery or clearance party in the destination country, receive the recipient name, delivery address, phone number, and a description of the parcel contents. A shipment cannot be delivered or cleared without them.
- WhatsApp, operated by Meta, carries the conversation itself. Messages sent there are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms, and the thread remains in your app as well as ours.
- Cloudflare serves and protects the website, and processes request information such as IP address and request headers.
- Google Analytics produces aggregated visit and interaction measurements. It does not receive your name, address, or phone number.
- The payment provider or bank you use. Payment is arranged outside this website, and that transaction is governed by the privacy terms of the institution you use.
- Customs authorities or a carrier's compliance team, where a shipment declaration requires it. In that case, only what the process requires is provided.
Cookies
This site uses a very small number of cookies, and none of them are for advertising.
- Measurement cookies set by Google Analytics, which distinguish a returning visit from a new one and produce aggregate statistics.
- Security cookies that Cloudflare may set in order to keep the site reachable and to filter abusive or automated traffic.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels. The site loads no advertising tag, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites.
There is no login and no shopping cart here, so there are no account cookies to manage. Cookies can be blocked or cleared in your browser settings, and the site still works without them. Google also publishes a browser add-on for opting out of its analytics measurement.
How long information is kept
Inquiry and order records — including the photos and video exchanged in the thread — are kept while the order and any after-sales question are open, and afterwards for as long as a shipping or declaration record may need to exist. Website statistics are kept in summarised form rather than as individual visit records. When a record is no longer needed for any of those purposes, it is removed.
Your choices
- Ask what order information is held about you, and ask for anything wrong to be corrected.
- Ask us to stop sending updates through a channel you no longer want, such as a Telegram channel.
- Ask for information to be deleted. Where a shipment or declaration record has to be kept, we will tell you what can be removed and what cannot, and why.
- Block analytics or security cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This site and the catalogue it describes are aimed at adult buyers. They are not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18.
Changes to this page
When the way the site collects or uses information changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. The current version is always the one published at gunongtrade.com/privacy-policy/.
