Triomphe Mini is a very small metal-clasp flap
The Mini Triomphe is published at 11 × 8 × 4 cm in shiny calfskin and 12 × 9.5 × 4 cm in the laminated version. Its removable and adjustable leather strap runs 45–55 cm, so it can hang as a small shoulder or crossbody bag. That strap range is long next to the tiny body, and the result is a jewellery-like carry rather than a utility bag. The 4 cm depth limits the contents to cards, a key and perhaps a narrow phone. A phone in a thick case may protrude beyond the intended closure.
Nano Triomphe is the more usable rectangular step
The Nano Triomphe record lists 16.5 × 11.5 × 5 cm with a 49 cm adjustable leather strap. It adds 4.5 cm in width, 2.5 cm in height and 1 cm in depth over the Mini. Those small increases place a card holder, phone and keys within reach while preserving the Triomphe silhouette. The strap is still designed for shoulder or crossbody wear. If the buyer wants the metal clasp but needs a phone to sit flat, Nano is the first tier to compare rather than jumping directly to Classique.
Ava Mini uses a crescent body and a short strap
Ava Mini is published at 16 × 8.5 × 4 cm. Ava Small moves to 23 × 13.5 × 6 cm. The Mini is short in height and shallow in depth, so it reads as a compact crescent under the arm. The Small adds 7 cm of width and 5 cm of height, making it the more practical phone-and-wallet shape. The Triomphe clasp sits at the side rather than as a central flap, which changes the opening direction. For a buyer comparing Ava with Triomphe, the choice is as much top-opening versus front-flap as it is centimetres.
Strap drop changes how a tiny body reads on the wearer
A 11 cm Triomphe Mini on a 45–55 cm strap can cross the body, while a 16 cm Ava Mini with a short strap sits under the arm. The same small bag can therefore look like a pendant or a compact shoulder bag. Ask for the drop and whether the strap is adjustable, not just total length. On a crossbody chain the bag may sit at the hip; on a short leather strap it may sit near the ribs. Neither position is automatically better, but the intended one changes how much the bag swings and how easy the clasp is to reach.
What a small Celine can reasonably hold
Use the opening and depth rather than the outer width. Triomphe Mini and Ava Mini at 4 cm deep are card-and-phone bags. Nano Triomphe at 5 cm gives a little more clearance. Ava Small at 6 cm can take a compact wallet if the phone is placed across the crescent. A full-size long wallet is the wrong benchmark for these shapes. The material also matters: shiny calfskin holds a crisp flap, lambskin can soften, and a structured body keeps the closure line when only a few objects are inside.
The final mini-bag check
Confirm the model, one side of the dimension line and the strap drop. For a Triomphe ask whether the clasp is the Triomphe metal snap and whether the strap is removable. For Ava ask whether the body is the Mini or Small crescent. Then compare the phone and wallet footprint with the base. A correct-sized phone inside a too-narrow crescent will still sit at an angle. The table below fixes the published figures; the specific piece supplies the final tape measurement.
