Four small bodies, measured
The Alma BB is 23.5 cm wide, 17.5 cm tall and 11.5 cm deep, and it carries a name plate, padlock and a long strap beside its top handles. The Capucines BB is 27 cm wide, 17.3 cm tall and 9 cm deep, a structured flap with a top handle and a removable strap. The Pochette Métis is 25 × 19 × 9 cm and is the flattest of the four because of its flap construction. The Speedy 25 is the same 25 × 19 cm at the front but 15 cm deep, which moves it into a different carry category altogether. Only one number separates the Alma BB from the other three on the listing, which is why width alone says very little.
Depth is what decides capacity
At 15 cm deep the Speedy 25 takes a water bottle, an A5 notebook and a makeup pouch — the load of a small everyday bag rather than a mini. At 9 cm deep the Pochette Métis takes a phone, a wallet, keys, sunglasses and a small pouch, but it holds those in a flat layer rather than stacking them. At 11.5 cm the Alma BB sits between the two: room for a wallet and a phone side by side, with the extra depth coming from the domed base rather than from a wider opening, so a wide phone goes in at an angle unless the bag has been shaped open. That distinction is the most common surprise on this family.
Structured against soft, and where the handles go
The Alma BB and the Capucines BB both keep their shape when empty, and both use a top handle set beside a longer strap, so a listing photo can show either carry. The Pochette Métis and the Speedy 25 are softer: the Métis holds its flap line but the body gives, and the Speedy 25 is a duffle that relaxes when it is not full. Structure changes how much actually fits at the published dimensions, because a rigid body cannot borrow space from the corners. If you plan to carry the bag crossbody, the strap is the second number to ask for: on these four it is longest on the Speedy and shortest on the Alma BB.
What to ask for on an LV mini
Three figures and one photograph settle it: the flat width across the body, the depth at the base, and the strap drop measured from the top of the strap to the top of the bag. Then a photo of the open bag with the phone you actually carry inside, because a 24 to 25 cm width means different things on a rigid domed body and on a soft duffle. Naming the model matters as much as naming the size — Alma BB, Capucines BB, Pochette Métis and Speedy 25 sit within a few centimetres of each other in width and behave differently every day.
